Technology & Research Services (TRS) is the knowledge transfer, research development and commercialisation department for Heriot-Watt University. TRS develops collaborative links between industry and academia through collaborative research projects, technology licensing, delivery of Continuing Personal Development (CPD) and consultancy services. It provides research support and commercialisation services to Heriot-Watt University staff and students.

Research support service including internal costing forms for full Economic Costing (fEC) proposals - this includes both European and non-European funding.

Heriot-Watt Inaugural Lecture Series

TRS host on behalf of the University the annual Heriot-Watt Lecture Series. Each lecture is given by Heriot-Watt staff in the auditorium of the Postgraduate Centre, located at the Riccarton Campus.
